This busy Bristol-based development consultancy is going from strength to strength. Having recently won significant new projects, including high-density urban regeneration schemes and major urban extensions, they are looking to add a Senior Urban Designer to the team. There is scope for this post to rapidly progress to Associate.

The ideal candidate will have a wide range of experience working on regeneration and residential schemes and be keen & able to take on the running of complex masterplans.

This client is hoping to recruit someone with:

– A relevant degree or equivalent in urban design, architecture, landscape design or town planning

– Ideally a MA/ MSc in Urban Design/ Regeneration/ Planning

– At least 5 years’ experience and the desire to progress your career

In terms of hands on design skills, the perfect team fit will have excellent knowledge of AutoCAD for masterplanning, expertise in 3D Modelling, be competent with Creative Suite software and have a skill for hand drawing.

With a background in large scale mixed use masterplanning schemes, you will be able to demonstrate your role in managing those projects. You will need a comprehensive knowledge of public and private sector residential development. being able to work within tight deadlines and a track record of producing high quality work is essential.
