I am working with a company which really stands out to me as an industry leader with a progressive outlook, they are well led, diverse in their specialist areas, flexible and open minded in their growth plans. What I can see so clearly, is that they are deeply passionate about what they do. I had the pleasure of spending the morning with them this week and this job opportunity to join them and support the leadership of the team in Bristol is one to stand up and really take notice of.

Company Overview

Across the UK they have 60 collaborative specialists working to offer land feasibility solutions to a wide range of clients. They have sub-teams of UAV surveyors, geo-environmental and air quality consultants, daylight and sunlight assessment specialists and civil engineers (drainage, cut/fill and flood modelling).

This vacancy lies within the Geomatics department which was formed 4 years ago and is based in Bristol. They deliver on UAV inspection, photogrammetry and LiDAR surveys locally and nationally using DJI Matrice 350 and Mavic 3T drones. The department also works with 3D pointcloud and ground investigation data to produce earthworks optimisation, detailed cut/fill and below ground contaminant models.

At the moment, the traditional topographic, measured build and utilities surveys are being outsourced to specialist external partners, and they would like to bring that in-house and add it to their offering – with a view to growing the team rapidly.
