Alongside a traditional Employers Agent role, you will be using your quantity surveying skills and may be required to offer CDM support. As a senior member of the team, you will be leading and mentoring junior surveyors to develop their skills.
The main function of the job is to prepare cost estimates, assessing contractor payment applications, client management and leading project meetings. You will be a leader in cost reports, valuations, final account settlements and if you could offer taking off experience that would be a bonus.
Having a good eye for understanding how a project is progressing both pre and post contract is important to the success of this role. Being able to write accurate tender reports, prepare contract documents, instruct on variations or amendments to plans and costs and can bring a commercial mind to the role – these are vital components of the job.
