The pandemic has rocked the world and has caused so much change and uncertainty. What is very clear is that the shortage of skills in specific areas and the need for talented people across all businesses remains a huge challenge and a key focus for business owners and leaders.
Looking at salaries across the built environment sector – they have remained largely unchanged since February 2020. Anecdotally, while we have seen redundancies and change in many businesses, we have also seen a number of notable high-level promotions and leadership appointments. In addition, there has been progression through companies for many and an increase in new small businesses opening and starting their journey well.
